Hi, It sounds like your father and my brother are in the same situation. Monday I took my brother to have his first Chemo and they discovered he had a blood clot in his right leg. Since then, there has been alot of decisions to be made, the Doctor would like to go in and take fluid from his lung to determine if he has a clot in his lung or if he has cancer that stems from the liver, or if it a new kind of cancer. If it is a blood clot or new cancer it will kick him out of the program he is in for Gemzar and MTA. My thoughts are to dissolve the clot and let him come home without anymore invasive thimgs done to him. Is your situation similar? This is an insidious disease, my prayers are with you and your father. Hang in there.
