I think I would tell him. For him it is not bad news, it will mean that he will no longer have to struggle with the symptoms of this disease, the doctors, meds etc. He won't be afraid of what is happening. He probably already suspects that this is the road he is travelling but is trying to protect you and his loved ones. Tell him it is ok to go, this is a journey we all have to take alone. Tell him its ok that you will be fine. I am sorry that you and your family are going through this, I will keep you in my prayers.
