Diane, run to get a second opinion! I don't want to scare you, but this is exactly what happened with my mom. First it was PC, then they didn't know, then they tried to do a whipple but couldn't, biopsies all came back clear. 3 months later they said: oops, guess we missed it, go see hospice. We wasted a lot of time and missed out on treatments and clinical trials that she could have participated in. Find a teaching hospital, find an oncologist who is familiar with PC. If you need help, people on this board can make recommendations if you let them know where you live. I would love to hear that the second opinion is that it's not PC, but based on our experience you absolutely need another opinion!
