Update on Richard. He started the RFS trial last week. Does anyone have an info on the side affects. Thhis one seems the toughest so far on Richard, of course he has been on Chemo for a year now. He is doing better than a few weeks ago, but I am still concerned with the tumor on his stomach muscle. It is an external tumor, very nasty looking, The Onc tells us it is not life threathning, and in fact the tumor on his pancreas is smaller. He is hoping the RFS 2000 will put this tumor in check. He is against surgery because the area has been damaged by radiation and removal of the tumor will leave a "big" hole in his stomach that will need plastic surgery. Anyway, Richard is optimistic as always and I'm over my recent depression and back on the front line with a vengence. I am going to take Richard to a surgeon for an opinion on the surgery. Will probably wait until after Christmas, give him time to recover from hip replacement. As always my good thoughts and prayers are with all herePamG
