i thought this would be a good starting point...i think we have come to a point that dad needs hospice. He is still in Mass General ( two weeks now) Another ct scan done on Saturday showed that the cancer is progressing in the liver ,lungs and two lesions on the spine. Dad is in terrible pain. Our oncologist informed us that dad will no longer undergo chemo. He is receiving radiation ot the spine to hopefully shrink the lesions and help some of his back pain. And today they were giving him an epidoral to try and control the pain as well. I can tell hes tired nad suffering . I hope he can come home soon and when he does, we will need help as dad cannot get up himself to go to the bathroom or anything else for that matter - where should i begin in regard to finding the best possible care to come to the house?
