The PC hurts . . . doesn't mean it's getting worse. At the same time, your husband just started chemo and it takes time to slow the disease down. Most important is what Susie said -- get help with the pain immediately, whether it's slow release morphine chased by break through pills, or throw that on top of a fentanyl patch. If that doesn't work, tell them you want dilaudid (sp?). Whatever . . . make SURE that the pain is taken care of. There is nothing worse than trying to keep a good attitude when you hurt like hell. Good luck, and let us help!! Love, Toni
