I hope everyone made the trip home from Beverly Hills safely. Barbara J., I just loved your accent. I hope your trip home to Australia was a smooth one.It was just great meeting everybody. Next year I'm going to tack a few extra days on in BH so I can spend more time with you all.I have volunteered to chair an E-Bay fundraiser for PanCAN. This is an easy way to make good money without much effort. Where we all live does not stifle us. I have been monitering the Rosie auction and an auction for the Dream Foundation. These can be found by going to E-Bay at and selecting fundraising on the right side of the page. Celebrity items are selling for big bucks there. Our only cost would be the e-bay fees which are not very high and shipping if we choose to pay the shipping charges. I need everybody's help. If you have some time to volunteer to send out some letters to your favorite entertainers or shows please contact me. We need to solicit things like signed scripts, walk-on parts ( a walk-on part with a picture with the cast of JAG just sold for $2,750 last week on the Dream Foundation auction), personal signed items (such as jackets, hats ), tours of the shows sets, lunch with an actor or actress, signed books, and any other memorabilia that you can think of. We also could use some sports items like signed bats, tickets to game, box seats or skybox seats to any sporting event etc. Any items that do not sell and don't have a time value will be used for our silent auction next year in BH. As E-bay is international, you can solicit local area baseball, hockey, football and basketball teams. This has a potential to be a really big fund raiser. All we need is the volunteers to do the soliciting. If you can help, please e-mail me with your full name and address so that I can send you a sample letter and some stationery. TOgether we ARE making a difference. Thanks and many hugs, Jacki
