I was hoping you would write with your exact experience (I was going to put it out there). THank you. Yes, I do feel that there are similarities so do appreciate the feedback. The plan for my Dad is to go for 5-6 weeks on Gezmar once a week concurrently with radiation Monday through Friday during the week. The oncologist said that it would not 'knock his socks off' and that there may be hair thinning (not a lot of hair loss) and of course, fatigue on days 2 and 3. That was his expectation. In any event, tonight a friend of mine came by and remarked how well he seemed to be doing-escpecially not even 3 weeks out from surgery. He ate around 800 calories today (up from the 150-200 calorie days of recent), so I was pleased. He walked a fair amount considering. Most importantly, he got back on his computer yesterday - which to me is a sign he is feeling better. Many thanks to you! I will keep you posted. And all the very best for 2007!! We'll hopefully be sharing along the way! Deanna
