Had Whipple at Sloan Memorial (though living in Midwest.) Trouble with lymph node and liver mets, edema, etc. Eighteen months later admitted to Detroit Hospital with confusion, pain hyponatremia (low sodium.) transferred to inpatient Hospice, where she rallied for awhile, then the end came in the wee hours after New Years.
