Hi, its been a while since I posted. The hallucinations subsided, mom has not had food for quite some time, very little water in the last week. She can no longer swallow. Hospice thought she would pass a week ago, every day and night she struggles to breathe (worse the past 48 hours). We've been through the whole letting her go thing that people talk about, don't think there are unresolved issues. Hospice nurse says she has a strong heart and that may be what is causing this to be prolonged. It is hard to see her struggling. Please pray that she will soon find rest and peace. Thank you, Cathy
