I am having trouble keeping the posts straight, so I don't know your situation, but I had to chuckle at your comment that it seems vain to worry about hair loss...etc. You have company, though. I have stage 4, inoperable, mets to liver, also taking gemzar and tarceva, also told to expect slight little hair thinning. Things were fine until about 5 months into chemo when the hair really started falling out. My hairdresser said not to worry, we would go for the Judy Dench look, but that didn't quite work. Got a wig instead, and serveral scarves (just in the nick of time---it fell out fast)and that helped a lot and took the pressure off. (I really really didn't want to show up at work bald.) I know it is frivolous to be concerned about how bad your hair looks at a time like this, but I am anyhow. Nevertheless, I never for a minute forget how lucky I am to still be here, still feeling great, and when I read these posts, I know hair loss is a tiny price to pay. (But go buy a wig anyhow!!)
