When I was getting shoulder/arm pain was after taking pain meds and sleeping. I would sleep on the shoulder/arm and due to the on board pain meds would not move for a long time from a position that you would normally have moved from in normal sleep/rest.
I was sleeping on my side and shoulder. Sometimes had pain in my neck. It all
just went away as I used the pain meds less and then stopped.
