I do not know all the details of your mom's cancer, but my dad went through a time like what you are describing. He was 58 at diagnosis (march 06) with stage 3 pc isolated to the pancreas. He went through 30 rounds of radiation and 8 weeks of similar chemo. from June to August of this year he lost 60 lbs. He was miserable to say the least. But on the good side of this story, his last pet and cat scans came back clear and he actually went back to work in October. He is definately not 100% but he is getting there. he has gained about 35 of his lbs back. I hope that this can shed some light to your mom and you too....... Our prayers are with you. Becky
