i was 50 when i had my op.i had no energy but i forced myself to do something every day.i had to have chemo because i had a 6cm tumor that i was told would be inoperable.that made me very tired but all i could think was that i was given a second chance and i wasn't going to spend it in bed getting more depressed and wasting what time i do have!even now i don't have the same energy levels as before(i played competition squash until 4 weeks before dx!).Give your dad time to recover but don't let him become an invalid!!!
