My husband is not the typical pc pt. He was dx'd at 32yo, one year ago tomorrow. He was told 2 mos. maybe 4. He ate a low fat diet prior to this. Ran 3 to 4 times a week. Knew the fat content in most food. BOOM! Pancreatic Cancer. If it was not for Capt. Crunch and Honey Comb he would be dead. When he was sick, sugary cereals with whole milk were the only thing he tolerated. He's doing super now. Living a great life with the kids and me. Had nachos, slim jims and buffolo wings yesterday. OK, well that was a bit much for even him. But you get the picture. So far, he is not a diabetic. By the way, he was nonoperable and chose no treatment to spend what he had left with us. ann
