Dear PC: Sounds like you are doing well. I have spent many hours reading about this disease. My best friend and neighbor is in the hospital as we speak. She is on her l0th day and still has the stomach tube in her. Her sister has told me that they said they found cancer cells in the two lymph nodes. She will need chemo afterwards for precaution. What is this all about. Is she really going to be ok? How brave you are and all these people with this disease. She had a moderate whipple procedure. She says that she can't wait to come home and that she has lost 25 pounds. She sounds great, but is in much pain. I want to do whats best and be there for her. Write me. Thank you. I tend to get overwhelmed with this particular situation and think that as a support person to someone I love I need to help myself and talk to someone like you who has asked for contact and maybe together we can discover what this disease is all about. God Bless you!
