The important thing here is: how much experience does this doctor have with PC patients? How many whipples has he done? If you have doubts, please rush to get an opinion from someone at a large teaching hospital who has experience, first-hand experience, with PC. PC isn't all that common, and we found out that many doctors only know what they've read and are not up-to-date. If there are differences of opinions on whether or not to do the whipple, be sure you have an opinion from someone with experience!
