When Dad was doing some vomiting it was caused by a stricture which was
closing off his stomach. This developed almost two years after the whipple.
He had scar tissue develop in the area where part of his stomach was removed.
The scar tissue was building and closing off the area. The vomiting started
out once a week and within six weeks to vomiting after each meal with
undigested food. A gastroenterologist did an endoscopy to find the stricture
and then break it up slowly to open up the space again.
I hope your Dad is feeling better. I would ask a GI doctor about his
vomiting. Take care........Mary
