I have posted several times since May 2006. My dad had the same diagnosis, except he had pain from the beginning. That's why he went to the Dr. If your dad is not feeling bad, please try to encourage him to take a leave of absence from work. I know it's hard to change someone's mind (especially a parent) but try to tell him to take a trip, have a family reunion/trip or anything else he has been putting off. Hopefully your dad will not feel the pain that my dad felt and the destiny that my dad had. My dad passed away on July 30th. However, regardless of whether he continues to feel good or if he begins to feel pain, he will never regret take time away from work to enjoy life a little. Don't we all deserve that? I know my dad did and he did not get the opportunity. If I had one wish I would have wished that my dad could have enjoyed life for just one week knowing that he had this horrible disease.
