My dad was hospitalized two weeks ago, he was incoherent, could not stand or follow direction and was rushed to the hospital. He had a x-ray revelaed shadowing in his lungs. He also had a fever. He was given an anti-biotic and dsch'd. Now was hosptialized again last nite although was coherent had shakes and high fever. Chest x-ray done again the shadowinf was there. Does anybody have an idea what this could be? Could he suffer a stroke and have an ambulism in his lungs or what would casue the fever and the disorientation.
