STEVE (MY BRO.)

Steven E. May 5, 1962- Sept. 12, 2006

My Brother Steve Was dx with pancreatic cancer early in Feb. 2006 at the age of 43. He had an aborted whipple due to liver met 02/22/06. He then went on to fight his cancer with aggressive chemo but he never had any breaks or success w/tx. He did celebrate one more birthday on 5/5/06. He died on September 12, 2006 at his parents’ home under the care of hospice. This is a picture of him on his last outing in beautiful Montana late in Aug. of 2006.

He was a beautiful, kind and loving soul who did not get to live out his adult life, which he was just beginning to realize. He left behind four children 7 siblings and his mom and dad. Those he left behind will be forever grateful for his freely given expressions of love.

My mom chose for the funeral the song ‘Beautiful Boy” from Mr. Holland’s Opus. It was fitting.

I love and miss you Steve and will see you again,

Kelly(kelly-wy)
