I have been very open with my family (6 children, 3 under teen grand and 5 late teen and above) about my Pan Can. After seeing so many beautiful posts, I wanted to share this with you. My 12 yo sent me a handmade card on a sheet of tablet paper after I suffered a compression fracture of one of the vertebrae lifting a boat trailer tongue 2 days after starting chemo and radiation. We both like boating. It was of a beautifully colored seascape with a sailboat named .The image is mirrored below on the blue sea and above the horizon, a brightly colored sunrise. His message has given me many grateful tears of love and astonishment. (His mother was flabbergasted.) It is: above. And below he writes: We are so proud of all our kids and grandchildren. Perhaps you have inspirational messages from children you would like to share. May your God bless and protect you and yours.
