Angie and all, I think some good points have been made. Yes, we need to face the reality that PC is a vicious killer. We also need to do all we can to help find ways to alleviate pain, deal with symptoms, and someday find a cure. But I think Angie's point is VERY important - one thing that she and I and many others do here is get support for ourselves. Sometimes that means looking for anything that gives us hope, sometimes it's venting our anger and pain. But we do need to be "psyched up" to be able to be good caregivers and hold on to some small piece of our sanity during this nightmare.
