I understand your frustration, and when you look strictly at conventional medicine you are right. If you look at the stats, you are even more right. This board is full of people fighting for loved ones lives and is not the place to discourgage them. However, it is also a place to vent just like you did. I do not believe we are close to a cure at all from what I've read and researched. However, I do believe that pc can be detected earlier than it is, can be controlled better than it is, and can be supported better than it is RIGHT NOW. To wait for a cure is putting all the existing options on a shelf and that is very, very wrong. Why wait on the 100% "all or nothing" solution? My mission is to bring more options to the pc patient and get the cancer under control - NOW. While everyone else is thinking CURE, I'm pushing for CONTROL.
