your Dad may well do better with the aldectone than with the Lasix. Potassium sparing and better for the heart.

As for the cancer spread....The info I understand is that the pc charactaristic is that it hides inside the cell (masking itself within a t-cell) and then morphs into the full blown cancer cell. As the cancer progresses the toxins the cells put off make the liver work harder trying to clean the blood.

I feel for your Dad with the swelling. GAWD, that must make him so uncomfortable. Ask the doctor about the aldectone....to help your Dad be more comfortable.
