My Dad was diagnosed with PC in January. He one and only symptom has been malignant ascites to the stomach. We have been so lucky to have him this long but I am afraid our luck is running out. He has been on Gemzar, with NO side effects and it has worked well for keeping the ascites at bay from being drained weekly to once every five or six weeks. The problem is now it has only been two week since his drain and he feels FULL. He has thrown up his food a few times in the last few days and has no appetite but the FULL feeling has me stumped. Food really grosses him out right now...and this guy likes his food. His belly doesn't appear full as it has in the past when he has needed a drain. His blood pressure is dropping and he has NO energy and this has all come on quite quickly.

Also need to know the names of some appetite stimulants than others might be using that might be successful. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there who might have had the same experience and what was the cause. Would enzymes help?

Just looking for some advise from others.

Thanks

Queenie
