Good News. My brother is scheduled for surgery 8/15 for a distal. The Surg. mentioned something that sounded like intrasurgical radiation.? He said while they have him opened up they will also have the Rad. M.D. come in and do one final RT after the tumor is removed. I read the Board regularly and don't recall hearing about this before. (My brother had 6 wks of Chemo/Rad initially to shrink the tumor, after it was diagnosed the end of March.) Anyone else had it done?
