Hi there,

Try and work on the nutrition part and boost his immune system with fresh juice, good home cooking etc. A multivitamin at dinner is what Raul takes.

One time during Gemzar treatments his anc dropped and I asked about the shots and ther onc. said it's much better for the body to adjust on it's own. It would cause more harm than good to give the shot and then have the body make too much anc. You know, cause and effect, so to speak.

Get him to rest. He doesn't need to be out in the heat stressing his body more. Feed him good and give lots of fluids.

B-T-W Raul was on 3 weeks on and one week off of the Gemzar 1000 m 2 30 min. infusion.and they cut it back to 800 m2 over 30 min., when his anc dropped. Lots of fluids, to keep the kidneys flushed.
