Have you considered calling Hospice? My Ron made the decision no more treatments, doctors or hospitals and was very weak and we were at the end of our "rope." I called Hospice and they were like a lifeline thrown out to rescue us. Hospice nurses are trained to help the patient and family deal with the changes that are going on and can clue you in to things that may happen, in our case they were very helpful and even after Ron's death periodically call me and send helpful messages via pamphlets and will have sessions for survivors on dealing with grief this fall.
