I read your post and it really hit home with me. I am sorry that you lost your mother to this dreadful disease. I am battling the same with my mother. She has become quite angry and bitter on most days and complains about EVERYTHING! She is so self absorbed. It is terribly difficult to listen to the constant negatives and yet try to remain positive myself. I love my mother with all my heart but this disease has turned her into a person I have never seen before and frankly I dont know how to handle it. I am there for her and will do anything I can to help, comfort, soothe, listen, you name it. How did you handle the anger that your mom displayed? I find I have to leave the room to come to grips with what is going on. I need to remind myself its not mom its the cancer. I have a great deal of compassion and patience, but I am losing it!!! Did your mother take anti depressants? I would appreciate your input, as you have experienced thsi with your mothers illness. Thanks for listening. Linda
