macrobiotic diet stabilizes digestion in PC - no fats, sugars, meats, dairy products. It's difficult to maintain and low calorically (to me that's the biggest problem, because most PC patients have low weight problems anyway). However, some reasear ch has shown it prolongs life in PC patients in contrast to those who are on a conventional diet. There is a lot of information on it on the Internet and in any good library.
