Hi Jules What a small world!! Mum is being treated by Professor Cunningham at the Marsden also! Her surgeon was Mr Mudan. She was diagnosed as having bile duct cancer and then had surgery for it. It was only when we requested a copy of the path results following her whipple, that we read that the tumour appeared to be in the top of the pancreas. We queried this and only at this point did the surgeon confirm that it was technically PC and not BDC - although he seemed to imply that there was no real difference! I wonder when and if we would have been told if we hadn't queried it? Please feel free to contact me direct via email as I would be very interested in comparing notes!! Jacqui
