Been there, done that. And learned another few things very quickly. To change sheets, roll your dad onto his side, the roll the sheet as close to his back as you can get. Next, take the clean sheet (hopefully fitted, if not the buy a couple of sets) and make that side of the bed. Roll the clean sheet close to your dad's back, roll him onto his other side and over the rolled up sheets. BEFORE ROLLING HIM OVER, THOUGH, MAKE SURE YOUR PUT A PAD (thick towel is ok) AND CHUX UNDER HIM (experience, again). Have clean pillows ready and make him comfortable (and cover him up) on the clean side of the bed. Now you can remove the dirty sheet, tuck in the clean bottom sheet, and straighten the top sheet and blanket. At first this is awkward but really does get easier. I know this really isn't a forum for these kinds of lessons but I hope this info. helps. Warmest wishes, Pam K
