Mitomycin is used to enhance the effectiveness of the radiation. I've not heard of the other treatment you mention in your post. Gemzar is the commercial name of Gemcitabine manufactured by Eli Lilly. It is the current drug of choice for metastacized pancreatic cancer. Hope your mom responds well to her treatments.
