When our HMO says "No" we go ahead and do what we think is right at our own expense. I figure we'll deal with the HMO later -- and we will deal with them because we can't afford not to. However, when fighting PC, time is so very important that we don't want to waste it begging and arguing. HMOs will yield if pushed hard enough, but that can take time, an attorney and emotional effort that is best used in other struggles. My best to you....
