From my experience, too few enzymes results in diarrhea, gas and sometimes oily, orange droplets (sorry to be so graphic). Too many enzymes results in constipation.

Even when going through chemo and chemo/radiation if I started with diarrhea, I would just take more enzymes to get things under control. Once I found my correct balance (two Pancrease capsules with meals), things became pretty normal. From reading on this board, some individuals require as many as 6 to 8 with meals and some with snacks. Always check with doctor about correct dosage range because different enzyme brands contain different amounts of ingredients.

Hope things get under control for George soon and he starts to gain some weight.
