Hi. I'm a 58 year old male in good health except for my PC. Diagosed 12/05,
Whipple attempted 1/06, but Surgeon couldn't get tumor off of the Hepatic
artery, so the tumor was left alone, but bypasses done and an alcohol nerve
block performed. No metastic disease at all, so far. My oncologist says that
due to my good health otherwise and age, my lifetime is most likely around
12-18 months. I just had my first two weeks of GEMZAR Chemo. Pre-chemo
CA-19-9 TUMOR marker was 47. I have a small incision infection still healing,
so Oncologist held off on adding TARCEVA till my next cycle of CHEMO. I'm
getting the boxing gloves off for this fight!!
