I'm so sorry for your loss--it is a big one. I was amazed at how much I
missed my dad and still do after almost 2 years. You never know the power of
a dad, you can only imagine, until he is gone. I had a hard time even
organizing a day for a long time, couldn't get the most mundane things such
as cleaning my house, etc. done. Just felt paralyzed with grief. I felt one
of the hardest things about losing my dad was watching my mom go on alone;
we've discovered she's a very strong person and I credit her a lot with
keeping our life on an even keel. I pray God will be near and dear to you
and yours as you go through the difficult days ahead helping you cope with
your dad's empty place. It takes a lot of time to heal so be good to
yourself. 'Cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee'. You are
in my thoughts and prayers--Take Care.
