Try not to beat yourself up for thinking this. It must be very normal, I felt the same way when my father died. You just don't want them to suffer any more. At the end I was so relieved, but then I missed him terribly and wanted him back just to say one more thing of great importance, like "I love you Daddy". Watching someone you love die, is very painful, you just don't want them to suffer any more and it does'nt ever seem fair. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
