Hi Heather...My Gram is in the very last stages of PC and our whole family has a lot of unresolved issues. Her onc.is extremely unccoperative (although her office staff is great) and my grandfather won't allow hospice in, even though he is one bundle of nerves adn cries at the drop of a pin. I know we're always supposed to hold out hope, but I feel like I just want it to end. She is in terrible pain when she is awake (very little of the day now) and she is really not even coherent because of the medication. She just turned 71 and was a vibrant, healthy woman until 5/98 when she started to show symptoms. She's not who she was and I hate to see her in so much pain and misery. On the other hand, i feel REALLY guilty for wanting "THE END" to come quickly. HELP! Is this normal, all this angst and confusion?
