It is so very, very difficult. Don't expect much of yourself for awhile. Take it slow and easy. Work is hard, especially of there is pressure, deadlines, etc. Everything is an extreme effort. You have no energy, no desires and don't care! I found myself without my normal huge "to do" list, and nothing was getting done and so what!! Just take care of yourself, be there for your family (like you are doing!!), and take one day at a time. Tomorrow doesn't matter. Its been 4 months tomorrow since I lost mom, and I'm still in a fog. I miss her so deeply. Stay with this group - they are all wonderful and really understand the little and big things that happen to you along the way. Don't be afraid to "vent" and spill it all out - it feels so good.
