Dear Angie,I have no idea if there's a link between PC and BC.My father passed away in 1998 of lung cancer and I was DX with PC in 2003,now my mom has been DX with BC.I myself believe that theres is a link to different types of cancer and its genetic also.My dad had 2 brothers one was DX with Stomach cancer and his other brother passed away of Pancreatic Cancer. My moms father passed away of lung cancer and on both sides of my parents family. Some of my Uncles and Cousins have been DX with PC and BC.My drs advised me that since there is a high risk of cancer on both sides of my family and I was DX with PC at this time cancer free but I go for 3 months cat scans for follow ups, that since my mom has just been DX with BC that I need to really keep check and have follow up colonoscophys and pap smears and mamograms and cat scans that with my type PC I was DX with can show up in other parts of my body.So from what I have seen with my personal experiences with cancer I would have to say yes I believe there could be a link. Now thats just my opinion and by no means do I want to scare you or anyone else.I have not researched any of this,my post is based on personal opinions and what some of my drs have told me,Good Luck and Blessings,Teresa
