I'm taking 8 grams a day, which is a *&^%load. Problem is, the pancreas is not really in the gastro-tract, the stuff really needs to get to your blood stream. Still, it's relatively cheap and worth a try. MDA is working on getting an infusable form, but meanwhile this is the best one can do. And lets put it this way, it's a cure for zofran-induced constipation, as long as you don't mind the color yellow.
