Ann, my Dad who didn't pursue treatment due to his advanced age, almost 92, has had severe spells of gas/bloating. He was diagnosed in December. For the time being we have the gas/bloating under control. In addition to percodin for pain (3x day), he takes Metumicill daily to regulate his bowels (had gone between constipation and diarhia which added to gas); Pharzme after meals, and a form of megace for appetite. He still has severe belching but has little or no gas/bloating in his bowels. Hope this helps. Best wishes and prayers to you and your husband. Eve
