Yes, the aborted the whipple, and will not operate. My Dad told me 2nd hand from the DR as I was outside pacing and does not know where the spots were. I am sure I will find out when the DR comes back. They are sending her home when the anesthesia wears off. I am devestated. The surgeon told Dad, the cancer had spread and they did not see it in the CT scan last week because the spots were too small. He also said the surgery would not help at all at this point. We spent weeks on this, she even took a lung test to see if she could undergo the surgery and she passed the tests. Its so sad. She is only 56
