Ask your Dr. about photodynamic therapy. My husband John was dx'd with the same thing. Where was his tumor located? John's was in the bile duct where they join into one. The pdt worked well. It got the tumor but as you know it is terminal. You are correct the cancer will not kill him but the infections probably will. John was just in hospital 7 days on IV antibiotics and was sent home with at least 10 more days that a nurse has trained us to do. If he makes it over this he's going to have internal radiation to try and keep the cancer at bay. Our Dr. Renner is in Los Angeles and he is the # 1 specialist in the country on BDC. His # is 310-556-7747, maybe your Dr. can talk to him. Good luck to you both....spend as much time together as possible, I know how much you are hurting right now, I send you to you a hug. Charlene
