Hi Debby,

My Dad became very weak, suffered falls and dizzy spells and then was unable to get out of bed. In his case this was due to extremely low blood pressure. Has your Mum has hers checked? Also, I recall that Renee has mentioned in a couple of previous posts on the board that her Dad's confusion was due to amonia build up.

Look after you too. It is hard being the main carer, even harder being the sole carer! Try to find someone you trust to care for your precious Mum, even just for a short time for you to re-charge your batteries. You are not alone! Your 'family' on this board will do all they can to help, support and offer advice. Take care - Amanda
