Hi Mike, I had a neuroendocrine tumor resected in March 2002, no mets; 3 lymph nodes were taken and were clear. Have had CT scans every 2 months since then, and they always come back w/no new growths. However, I have 4 elevated labs that oncologist keeps track of. In other words, the CTs show nothing, but the labs say there's something going on. Elevated labs are: Chromogranin-A, 5HIAA, IgG lambda, and CA19-9. some of these are just slightly elevated.
