Kim....I do know what my dad went through. He did not die of pc. Unfortunately, we have just joined the "pc club". Anyway, when my dad died, he was on morphine. He to was "talking". To who, we are not sure. Although he never came out of the morphine affects, something interesting did happen at the very end. It was the middle of the night, and my sister was awakened by what she believes to have been the spirit of my father, My dad had not died as of then. However, as soon as my sis awakened the whole family and they were beside his bed, he passed away....peacefully. What do I believe? That he was more concerned with his family saying good-bye, that his spirit did what was needed. Am I religious..no. Do I believe in angels and an after-life? Yes.I now believe my dad is waiting for his wife, my mom. What will happen in the coming days and months, I don't know. I am learning from this board and research what science says. I do believe in fighting. I also believe that one's spirit knows when to let go. Can I do it?..What choice do we have? Thanks and Take Care! Rick
