Dear Kim, I'm so very sorry to hear about your dad. My father-in-law passed away from pc on 2/16/99, and he too had a day of "rallying" just 1 day before he died. He was sitting in his chair, talking on the phone, eating, getting around o.k. But the next day his body was just giving out. He was in such agony, and also a semi-conscious state. But he did not talk to people that we couldn't see. I don't consider myself a religious person, but after he passed away someone on this board talked about a book called "Talking to Heaven" by James Van Praagh. I've since read this and it talks about how people that have passed on help to guide the living through this. I do believe that there is a beautiful, hat we know on this earth. I'll pray for you and your family as you go through this horrible experience. Nancy
